Pretty excited to finally open and use this pen I bought about a year ago.
Last year I established a system for rewarding myself for meeting certain goals; the rewards are almost all fountain pens. That means I bought them … but left them virtually untouched except for cursory inspections before my wife wrapped them up and shuffled them around for me. Every time I meet certain kinds of goals, I get to pick out a gift-wrapped reward from my “rewards altar”. It’s … pretty awesome! But it means I have invested in a bunch of pens and not gotten to play with them.
